Movements, not totals
Receiving, transfers, removals, and adjustments are recorded as events, and each one keeps its quantity, location, reason, and who entered it. The number on the screen is what those events add up to, so any figure can be traced back to the thing that changed it.
Locations are first-class
Stock is held somewhere, not just owned. Quantities are tracked per location, and moving stock between them is an ordinary recorded movement rather than a manual correction typed at both ends.

One record, four questions
The overview, activity ledger, location view, and low-stock watchlist all read from the same data and answer different operational questions: what is on hand, what changed, where it is held, and what needs attention now.
Built to stay auditable
A FastAPI service over PostgreSQL holds products, locations, movements, and audit history in one model, with a React workspace on the web and an Expo build for use away from a desk. Sales and purchase activity land in the same ledger as manual adjustments.
